We went to see Part 1 of the Hobbit tonight.
It was good but seeing the eagles in the movie just reinforces my idea that in the Lord of the Rings movies they could have just flown Frodo and Samwise straight to the mountain and dropped the ring in the fires of Mt Doom and it would have been an hour long movie at most.
Not that I don't like the lord of the rings movies, just that plot flaws like that drive me nuts.
Speaking of which, here is a picture of New Zealand.
We need go to back there and do the North island for the first time and the South island again because it is just so beautiful.
