i always seem to do this really late
saw harry potter tonight with some friends. it was pretty good. they really had to condense this one though. oh well, i guess fitting 700+ pages into 2.5 hrs had to be difficult.
also: i found out my ex-girlfriend from freshman year of college is engaged to her boyfriend neil. they started dating shortly after she and i broke up (so i guess they've been dating somewhere around 5 years now). i guess this is supposed to make me feel something profound. like maybe i should feel like i really need to meet somebody or something. but it doesn't. i'm happy for them. i always thought they seemed good together. and particularly, if someone's going to break up with me, best it be for the person they're going to marry. congratulations sarah and neil. you're going to have a wonderful life together, i'm sure.
