My mother called me today and asked me if I had time to chat, which I did. She said she needed to vent and Dad wasn't home. Normally when she tells me this, it means that something happened at work. While I was not aware of your younger sister (wasn't aware of any siblings but thats just me) this pisses me off and infuriates me to know end. One of our neighbours has a fairly severe case of cerebral palsy but has moved on with his life and works etc. I have seen some of the shit that he and other people with a disability have had to put up with over the years and can't stand it. I am sorry that your family has had this happen to them, and very sorry for your sister, it is worse for her since she doesn't know what is happening.

Where I work currently I have to deal with a number of able bodied and disabled athletes (with varying degrees from amputations to mental disabilities) and I can say that in most instances the ones who are disabled are by far the nicer people.

Contact youtube and report the video ASAP. They should remove it, if you know what the video link is. As far as I know they have a pretty tight screening policy, but things do get through, but do have a complaints process which in most cases will have videos of such incidents removed if still available.

I can understand why students names will not be released, but see if your mother can obtain a copy of the school's handbook so she know what the "appropriate action" is.

I hope all ends up well for you, your family and especially little sis.
