blah blah Otakon blah.
Otakon was the usual running around like crazy, changing, pictures, changing, scurrying around, finding people at inopportune times, meeting awesome people, and then having a blast after dinner. I think that this may have been one of the best Otakons I've been to- everyone was exceptionally great. I didn't feel like babysitting my camera, so I generally didn't bring it around with me- which means that all of these photos were yoinked from other people.
I never do shout-outs and I don't really feel the need to change that now- but holy BALLS I met so many new awesome people at this con. I can't wait to hang out again at Katsu. Also got to hang out with people who I usually only see in passing and it was faaaaaaaaantabulous.
Costumes:
Friday: QUEER Ball costumes (bob and SAYER), Sailor Aluminum Siren (Kelly as Heavy Metal Papillion), then Gryffindor Bob and Kelly's Slytherin Seiya for drinking costumes.
Saturday: Healer (Kelly as Sailor Kakyuu) and Eternal Sailor Moon (Kelly as Fighter) which we wore for all of two seconds. Then summer school uniform bob and rei for our drinking costumes.

I think I had one pose in this costume. Lame. WHO WEARS A TIARA ON THEIR FACE? Yoinked from Caloris (who I didn't actually get to meeeeeeeeet :B You should've said hello!) I am guilty of badly photoshopping the colors and background. Yes, very badly. My apologies.
Kelly's pretty fantastically hot. Our wigs were shipped to the hotel on Thursday night and I dyed/cut mine in the hotel room- helloooo blue bathtub and last-minute fun.
We didn't make it to the seventh book release...
We DID bring mixed drinks into the con in paper cups. Masters of subtlety. Oh yes. (photo from Tif)
