Hi guys. One of my favorite pairs of pants is broken, and I'm not sure how to fix it. The pair in question are my white raver goth pants, which zip off into shorts. The problem is the zipper on one of the legs has broken, and I can't get the pant leg back on. The teeth aren't broken, and the part that slides is still attached alright. The ( Read more... )

do you mean that little pull-tab thing that you actually grab to move the slider? and what kind of material are the pants? i don't actually have a sewing machine, but someone you know must be able to do the repairs.

a zipper is pretty minor. i fixed my leather jacket with a safety pin and a bit of wire from a paperclip when the plastic pull-tab broke. even a completely new zipper can be installed with little trouble, if the material isn't too miserable.

The pin! The pin is the name of the thing that literally fell off. The pants are denim.

no pin means new zipper is needed.
