Yes, this is inspired from the rave last night. In any case. What I'm looking for are tips as to what qualities I'm looking for in a sewing machine - good features, necessary features, tell-tale signs of Doom... you know.
In other news, the weekend was fantastic. Friday rocked hardcore. No DanceSpree, instead I had a new friend over with Maria and Ben and we watched Labyrinth (new friend - Matt - had never seen it!), and then saw Independence Day at the Friday Night Rewind. ZOMG that movie is awesome!! Went to the diner, stayed up way too late, and had a blast.
Yesterday slept in and went to the rave at 6:30. Lasted until about 2, at which point I was just straight up falling asleep. Kinda sad. Then again, 3 hours of sleep the night before a 6 hour dance spree will do that to you. Rafi couldn't come, unfortunately... lack of break partner = teh suck. Still had a great time though, saw lots of cool pants (inspiration for this post), and learned some really cool toprock moves from some old-school beatboys! Specifically one, who was also a security guard.
My senses are still recovering from last night, but feeling much better after sleeping twelve hours. Yipes.
One more request: is anyone going out to Boston from the Valley on Friday? Need to get out, and I'd rather not take a bus. *sigh*
