Well Hello :D
Goodness it feels like a small eternity since I've written anything on here but life has been crazy busy. About a month or so ago I went full time! Man I'm not sure what I knew what I signing up for when I did LOL.
I do what is called "The Extra Board" and my job in short is to fill in the runs that people don't show up for, pass up and or simply aren't currently manned...which is a lot at the moment. So on average I put in about 63 to 67 hours a week and work anywhere between 10 to sixteen hours a day.
In other words...I don't have much of a life beyond working and it will be that way for at least another four months as I had to sign of extra board again come fall. Of course when I at least go on the board in fall the two days I have off will actually be two days together as apposed to the split days I have now. So yay.
And while I have no social life and a bit of a crazy schedule I am able to make a very decent income now. I have to admit it's nice to pay a full months worth of bills with one paycheck. It's something I've never had in my life and I am loving it!
I also finally have my apartment fully setup and all the boxes are finally unpacked and gone through. It took a little over a month but when you maybe only take a day off a week...yeah it's sort of hard to motivate yourself to want to unpack when you've put in 67 hours and all you want to do is veg LOL.
Sadly haven't done a lot of drawing...like at all. A few scribbles but nothing even worth keeping. I'm hoping to start a couple of drawings since I found a few old concept sketches. Perhaps on the days where I get off at a decent hour I'll be awake and human enough to try and draw. Well we'll see half the time when I get home it's find food, set the alarms and crash out in the recliner.
But all in all life is pretty damn good. I finally feel content with where I am at and with the move and promotion I've honestly finally been able to close the door on the break up. It's like I know the chapter is done and that it's okay to move on with my life.
Anyways I hope things are going well for you guys as well and hopefully I'll have some art soon. One can hope right lol.
