So for about the last six days or so my right knee has been hurting and with each passing day it got a little worse. It has gotten so bad that the throbbing pain would sometimes wake me form a dead sleep about every hour or so and driving has become more then just a mild challenge since I would not only get the pulsing but what can only be described as an electric jolt up my thigh.
So I caved and scheduled a doctors appointment and went in today. And after a bit of talking and telling her what was going on and a few muscle tests we found out I've got tendinitis in my right knee. That means I have tendinitis in both wrists and one knee.../wibble
But I was prescribed a great but stomach friendly anti-inflammatory that should help relax the tendons and hopefully get the agitation under control. Once the pain subsides I'll get to start doing some daily knee exercises to hopefully keep the tendons healthy so I can return to a more rigorous workout.
So yeah no more walks/jogs on the treadmill for at least a week or any strenuous exercises for a little bit. I'll have to be more conscious of my diet so I don't eat too many excess calories.
...Yay.
Well at least I know what the major malfunction is so when it rears it's ugly head I will be prepared for it...though if I can keep this new knee brace off I'm going to.
