I have 1/2 hour left in my day, and I am bored.
Took this from
gem_pinkehYou're supposed to comment on this entry if you want me to choose seven of your LJ user info interests and ask you to explain them. You then post an entry in your own journal with instructions and the explanation of the interests I chose for you to explain.
So, yeah. Here are the ones that gem chose for me:
Isaac-Brocks-cute-behind: Pretty self-explanatory, really. Boy has a cute behind.
Cute front, too. I am very interested in seeing Isaac Brock's cute behind on the Modest Mouse tour this fall, and will be very upset if they don't book another freaking Texas date in between El Paso and New Orleans. It doesn't take three days to get from one side of Texas to the other! Stop in Austin or something!
nick twisp: An amazing novel by C.D. Payne called
Youth in Revolt centers around a boy called Nick Twisp and his amazing misadventures. He's a fucking champ.
icd-9 codes: In medical billing,
icd-9 codes are used to code diseases and disorders for billing purposes. It's like an insane dewey decimal system of bodily and mental malfunctions.
boys in glasses: Pretty self-explanatory, too. I like boys who wear glasses. What's really attractive is when a boy who doesn't usually wear glasses shows up somewhere in glasses. It's like adding sexy to your face. I swear. Mmm. I don't know what it is, but glasses are sexy. I wear glasses, and I love them. Love.
specials-at-the-moon:
The Moon is the bar that you can pretty much always find me in, and you'll usually find me drinking the daily specials. Sunday: $1 PBR and Lone Star. Monday: $1 domestic bottles. Tuesday: $2 You-Call-Its. Wednesday: $3 Pitchers. Thursday: $2 Wells/$3.50 Double Wells. I change it up on Friday and Saturday, if I am there, because I don't drink mexican beer and don't really like most of the weirdo shots, so i just stick to bud light draught or rum and coke.
Sophia Myles:
Actress, British, literally one of the most gorgeous women alive. Played Isolde in Tristan + Isolde, and Lucy in the most recent BBC adaptation of Dracula, among other things. Gets to bang David Tennant on a regular basis.
The Chemistry Set:
My band. Well, not MY band, but the band I lay claim to. Even though I've skipped their last couple shows. But I've been seeing them steadily (I sound like I am talking about a boyfriend, ha) for about 4 years now. Out of all the bands and musicians and everything that I see, The Chemistry Set has always been the band that I felt was really MINE. Not that I have possession of them or anything, but they've always been my favourite, and they're the band that I have always felt associated with, moreso than anyone else aside from maybe Calhoun.
