Man, I'm having a hard week. I turned on the radio on the way to work this morning and heard Rhett Miller coming from my speakers. Almost started to cry. He was followed by Bob Dylan and Beth Orton, and needless to say, I was about five minutes late for work from driving around listening to the radio.
I need some fresh music from home is what I need. I want to go see Bob Schneider in a couple weeks here, but it's on a friggin Tuesday. My mom would have a fit. Not that it's really her decision, but still. I'll have to figure out what the timeline on that show looks like, cause if I can make it out by midnight, I'll probably go. Shows seem to start earlier around here than they do in DFW, especially on weekdays. I wish he was touring with someone interesting.
I put two and two together on MySpace last nite looking around and band profiles, and realized Casey McPherson is playing the Cavern with Chemset in March.
