What is going on with the fandom this week?!
*tiptoes cautiously around LJ*
No matter where I look, there's some sort of wank or kerfuffle or outrage going on. So much negativity and dissappointment and anger and hurt feelings! 'Shipping wars, fans arrogantly telling other fans what kind of fics they should or shouldn't write/read, Scott Allie opening his big mouth yet again (and Georges Jeanty, too, for that matter), latest appalling and craptastic Twilight/Bangel development in S8 comics. Am I forgetting something else? Has there ever been this many different things going BOOM at the same time?!
*sigh* I've only had time to read maybe one third of it all that's floating out there, and I haven't participated actively to any of it, but I'm exhausted nevertheless. Feels like everything is falling apart right now, and that's incredibly sad. I miss the awesome fandom I love so very much. :´(
Only penguins and angearia 's wonderful Spike/Buffy meta has kept my blood pressure from going through the roof. Thank you for that! :)
