Maternity Leave Ho!~

Let the countdown begin!? What countdown...this little one is going to arrive when they are ready no matter how long or short the time frame.

Roughly 2 1/2 weeks to go. I never was a team player when it came to the waiting game.

Which means I am slightly scared. I know whats going to happen, but not knowing when is whats making me anxious. Everything Rob and I could possibly think of having ready is ready...to the best of our knowledge. His parents and sister came over the weekend of the 22nd and helped us set up the nursery. (Which reminds me I want to get some pictures) I asked all of the questions I could think of and am so happy and greatfull for their help.

All I have to do now is get the bag(s) of things to bring to the hospital ready. Thank you prenatal classes for a list of suggested and required items for mom and baby.

Sadly I don't have any pictures of me at the moment. I am waiting on Robs mom to send all of the pictures we took over the weekend. Although I should take some of my own, I know Rob wants to.

I thought last year that my dad was retiring. When I went home to celebrate said retirement, I found out that he had to retire this year. September 15th is the big day. We had a lovely phone conversation the other day, and one of the topics was how strange it is to think "I don't have to (or in my case can't) work anymore" After it being such a constant thing is a persons life, it is weird. I went to bed last night thinking "Tomorrow is Sunday and it is strange that I'm not working" I did however tell my dad that my leave and his retirement are different, but he dissagreed.

I hope that all of the phone numbers I have are up to date. Depending on the time I want to try and mass text a handful of people. Knowing me though, I'll probably forget my phone when we leave for the hospital. Which in the moment isn't such a bad thing. I guess what I am trying to say is - If you have changed your phone number in the past few months, and want a text or call when baby arrives let me know!

baby!
