Little one Entry #1

Well we have an estimated due date. August 16th. Also tomorrow marks 3 months.

Rob and I have also come to the decision, that in 6 weeks (18 weeks of pregnancy) we want to know the gender of the baby. We were in the new mega shoppers in town, and took a trip down the baby isle. I picked up some cute bottles and Rob said "I want to know what we are having" I was going to leave that decision up to Rob anyway, even if he didn't know it was his. I was happy knowing or not, so we will find out.

right now my baby bump is small. you can only really see it if I wear form fitting clothes, and if you know what to look for. Just to be on the cautious side I took out my belly ring. I noticed my belly button being pushed out a smidgen and thought it was a good idea.

Had the first of many Dr. appointments yesterday. Dr. Saunders is great. He is part of a group of doctors who like to deliver their own babies. So when the time comes he will be delivering my little one. Unless he is unable too he will hand me off to one of the other doctors in this little group. Rob and I both like this. The ides that one doctor will be with you from the very start to the very end is really comforting to me.

I have not been morning sick at all! I just can't stand the smell of certain foods. One night Rob brought home a chicken bacon ranch sub from Subway and I had to eat in another room. It smelled revolting! Olives! Oh my goodness I can not stand olives. I just have to suck it up at work, because Tuesdays we make olive bread >.>

As for cravings, no pickles and ice cream yet. Although I have been craving lots of cranberry juice, milk and chocolate with random ritz moments. Also the having to use the washroom every hour to hour and a half is slightly annoying, but its going to get worse so I can live with the hourly visits.

Monday when I came home I pushed myself a tad too far. Rob said I went nazi on the house. What?! I wanted a clean house, I just cleaned the kitchen, master bath and our room...plus mapped out multiple loads of laundry. I killed my legs though Monday and Tuesday it hurt to walk up stairs. It was also a pain to crouch down at work, but thats my fault D:

I get to go have blood work done today. Horrah -_- my veins are small, the last time I went to get blood work my left arm got poked three times and then after giving up they tried my right arm a couple more times. Although Dr. Bogle did assure me that pregnancy tends to increase blood flow. Here is hoping my vessels are big enough this time.
