Is anyone else getting a ridiculous amount of spam comments lately? This is getting out of hand.

I am. Just on one post, but every day for a couple of weeks. Annoying. I get notified via email, and can just delete from there, but it takes up time I'd rather spend on other things.

All of the sudden, I'm getting so many! Only on recent posts, though. :-/ And yeah, it's...bothersome.

I haven't had problems with spam here, but I keep getting spam DMs on Twitter (because people's accounts are getting hacked). So annoying!

Tell me about it. Now I've got this problem with my Friends Page where I can't get beyond the entries from yesterday. I e-mailed support and it turns out it's a bug. I don't know it they've fixed it yet, but in the meantime I'll have to input numbers in the URL so it'll go back further than where it stops. Frickn' LJ and their constantly trying to "improve" the site! *growls*

I had in intense period of getting spam (all over different posts) a while back, but I just continually kept labelling it as spam before deleting and now it's stopped. Hope the same will happen to you soon! It's so annoying to get loads of spam.

It really is annoying! Hopefully, it'll die down. I get these periods sometimes, of mad spamming, and then it disappears. I hope it happens soon!

Lol! I wish he'd do that with all of them. Had another this morning, all on the same post. It's really irritating. I keep marking them as spam, but they just keep coming.

Here comes Jack to shoot the next one down!

Nah, I've only had one, and LJ blocked it as suspicious, so I deleted it right off (couldn't mark it as spam, that was greyed out, bugger it). Other than that, I don't get comments anymore, because I haven't posted anything worth commenting on, LOL!

Uhm. In other news, I really don't know. Aside from this, and the spam, I've been getting nary a trickle.

My comments, though - the spam ones - are on older posts and newer. The only good thing is that it sparks my curiosity and I end up reading things I'd not looked at in awhile!

I only seem to get comments when I put up a personal post, these days. Odd, but that's the way it seems to go. *shrugs*

As for the bloody spam, what do you know, but I had one tonight, on an old post. But it shows up in my regular inbox, so I can't mark it as spam, I can only delete it from the post, and hope for the best. I don't even get email notifications of the bloody things - I never have - so that's no help, either.

I hope this doesn't presage an influx of annoyances...
