Santana’s crying.
I watch her, at a complete loss. My mind goes on overdrive as I try to figure out why she’s sobbing so intensely. I replay the conversation in my mind, but nothing I’ve said seems particularly hurtful or overly sentimental. The only conclusion I can reach is that she’s crying because I’m offering her my pinky.

The emotion is still really good. Strong, vivid writing. I'm really loving this story.
I did kind of have to do a double take with the whole police thing though. It seemed a little fast. They were sitting on the swings, they linked pinkies, Santana took off, Britt caught her and then the police were there, responding to a call about public decency? I'll have to go back and see if I missed something, but my first reaction was "how did the police get there so fast?" and my second was "what was so indecent? they were barely touching each other." Sigh. Maybe Lima is still *really* far behind the times.
All in all, excellent update! Such a good story. Bummer about the killer being a kid, though. It'll be interesting to see how they deal with this development. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Yeah, I was a bit worried about the timing. There are honestly a lot of things that worry me a lot whenever I post a new chapter. But I'm glad that you still liked it, one way or another. :)

Another beautiful chapter. I just love the imagery. It was so sweet and fufilling. The Police officer annoyed the heck out of me! I'm not gay but I'm a HUGE gay rights supporter (I see no wrong in loving who you love) so I literally wanted to rip his face off. I then realised it was weird to want to rip the face off a fictional character lol. xxx
Anyway. FANTASTIC!!!!! Please, please, please update!!!

Thanks very much for sticking around to read the story as it goes on. :)
I'll update as soon as I can. Anyway all my exams just finished (WHEW).

This line is just really, very good. I've definitely been there.
One problem for this chapter: Santana stopping to take a phone call from Quinn while she's in the middle of chasing Brittany. With Brittany's suicide attempt, Santana's being unbalanced, and the fact that Brittany is the only person Santana loses her mind over, Santana taking that call with more than a "can't talk right now, Q" doesn't feel right.
That said, it does feel like you're getting better, which is awesome. I'll wait for the next chapter and hope you keep upping your game.
