Influenza Outbreak '07
Ah yes...this has been just a FUN week. I have offically wiped both my sick leave and annual leave from work today. Not that I had more than 1 hour and fourty-five minutes of it when I got there this morning. I did ATTEMPT to go to work today, but apparently this virus likes to pretend that it's a rollercoaster and I got a phone call from Ali's daycare at a little before noon telling me her temperature had jumped up again.
So...day FIVE of being at home with Ali. Jonathan at least returned to school yesterday and is doing much better.
You'd think with all this time I had, I would have gotten more done around the house. Oh well...it's clean, who cares if I haven't unpacked all the boxes still. I love the Mr.Clean Magic erasers...since I have a budding Davinci who likes to decorate walls. I have a couple loads of laundry left to fold as well as wash. I vaccumed almost the whole house...including the stairs. I wish there was an easier way to clean stairs...
I reread Furuba,have watched 'Curious George' probably seven times, Goonies twice, caught up in several of my manga, updated Selfish AND have over HALF of the next chapter written AND realized the importance of FLAVORING MEDICINE so it isn't ALL spit back out at you upon administration. (Seriously WHY don't they tell parents these things when you fill? If I had heard them say "This medicine is the nastiest tasting thing ever, if you actually get it in your children they will probably force it back up again...would you like to flavor so it doesn't taste quite so horrid *though it will still taste horrid*? I would have said YES...I mean my FIVE year old was like trying to make himself puke immediately after having it and it would have saved me a trip out in the world tuesday night to get it done for them)
Anyway...Yeah...been a hectic week here. At least it's friday and I know I won't have to use leave tomorrow!
