Only 2 chapters left?
Yanking out the new and so NOT original icon at the moment. I seem to have a lot of those these days. Like a good Kyouru fangirl...I did my share of fangirling over the photo. It's just so PRETTY *_* I seriously thought I would never use the word 'sexy' in reference to this pairing...but when I saw that picture that's the first thing that came to mind.
It was instantly tossed onto my desktop wallpaper ^_^
After I properly drooled over that picture (no...I don't think I will ever get tired of looking at it.) Finally the scans emerged. I knew beforehand that the Kyou/Tohru storyline wouldn't get resolved in this chapter, since there was a break...I am just thankful they got to see each other again though (for that SPLIT second).
Anyway...Kisa and Hiro are just so adorable, her all nervous as she waited for Hiro to come out was just too cute! The conversation with Hiro and Akito was interesting, since you still see a bit of the old Akito, but she's just really cranky right now ^_^ Poor Akito, all this changing is really hard for her, but she's really doing a wonderful job. It's a hard thing to realize that your whole outlook on life is something that needs changed, but she's trying. It's not easy for her at all...I don't know why some people think it is.
Kyou and Yuki...I wonder how Tohru's going to handle their new 'relationship' when she gets back. I think that's going to be quite the adjustment for her to deal with. The conversation on the roof was interesting. Kyou seemed really distracted about everything until Yuki started to bait him about things. I like how Yuki and Haru didn't dance around the whole 'cat room' issue and what Akito planned and how that might allow Kyou and Tohru to be together now. That they are noting her changes, noting that Shigure isn't around the house anymore and assume he's spending his time with Akito. I too wonder if both of them suspect that Akito isn't a male...but I guess we'll find that out. I imagine that is something that Akito needs to announce at the 'meeting'...Though the thought of having all the Jyuunishi there just makes me go all *_* It would be so neat to see them all together at once.
Shigure and Akito...wow...I really liked his teasing her and her not really getting it. (Kind of reminds me of Kyou and Tohru at times ^^;)Their conversation is interesting and I think that the last couple of chapters will have a lot of both of them in it. Perhaps the last LAST SPECIAL chapter will be that 'meeting' chapter. I really don't think they will be overlooked. The last few pictures of the two of them were so wonderful.
The Yuki/Machi section was really...woah. All I could think when I saw that section was 'Ehh? What's he trying to do to her?' Scared the crap out of the poor girl...looked like he wanted to jump sweet innocent Machi. Her all nervous and obviously trying to still her heart from leaping from her chest was...hee hee....it was adorable. I'm pretty sure she's going to be meeting Yuki the rat in the next chapter...that's going to be so fun.
I had nightmares of this being another 'Keep Kyou away from Tohru' chapter. (Okay...not really...I was just worried about it.) Kyou...in this whole chapter just cracked me up though. His obvious determination about getting to go see Tohru was just so cute...and going through Hana and Uo...well...sometimes I think he likes to torture himself. Them asking him to pick Tohru out an outfit was quite amusing, as was their teasing of him about Tohru not wanting to wear it if she knew he picked it out.
Somehow...that outfit Tohru was wearing just screamed 'Early volume Kyou'...with the little strings on the back and stuff. Makes me wonder if maybe he DID pick one...hee hee. It looked like something Tohru would wear with just a splash of Kyou tossed in. Anyway, I don't think the angry emo kitty will ever hear the end of his 'rejection' of Tohru, especially since it's so darn obvious to everyone else how crazy he is about her.
He was so nervous on the way to the hospital, I can kind of understand how he'd be wondering how they are supposed to act, or question what she wanted now--especially since it's been said she didn't want to see him yet. There is a definite before and after of their relationship and it won't be the same because of what she said to him. Even if she hadn't fallen off that cliff, things would be different. I can't imagine dwelling on that over and over all week like the two of them have, not knowing what was going to happen. Neither has had to deal with something like that before so taking those steps into a new relationship...something neither has done before. Making that transition from what they had before to what it will be...even just telling someone 'I love you' can change that dynamic so much.
Ah...but as Arisa predicted (and I don't think she was serious)...Tohru ran on sight. Dang fast too...I don't think Arisa and Saki were very amused with Kyou's laughing at her, but he'd had so much tension and worry built up that I think just LEFT the instant he saw her...that it was all he could do without breaking down. Only a moment though...just enough to give her a running start before taking after her. **Go Kyou!!**
Kyou being Kyou...doesn't yell for her to stop running, doesn't scream out her loves her but gets irritated because...she's still not recovered and being reckless like that. (Sari <3's the little angry marks there too)
Overall, it really was a nice set up for the next chapter. Yuki revealing to Machi the curse *_* (Somehow...I don't think she'd mind him being a rat since...well...I've seen her house and can't imagine she doesn't already live with a few ^^) And finally our Kyouru moment. I have some predictions that I doubt will happen but might...but I don't want to say much about them...
