Ah...Spring! Flowers...Sunshine...and TICKS! (ick)
Been a loooooooong week...since the mother in law is in town. I love her to death, but she likes to plan things with her friends when she visits. She doesn't discuss her plans with us beforehand besides when she is coming and going. I just get frustrated when she comes to town to visit her grandkids, but fits them in between visiting her friends. She's gotten much better about things though, realizes she doesn't HAVE to see everyone everytime she gets back.
I can't garden to save my life, so yesterday and today she weeded and planted some flowers for me. We got a bunch of other yardwork done and the kids were outside playing for the last two afternoons. Alison LOVES playing outside. That's all she wants to do now and is happy as long as she's out there...but gets really crabby when she has to come inside.
Nik brought the kids inside when I got home, since we are supposed to be going to dinner with his mom tonight. We tossed them both in the bathtub (together...hahahhahhaa) and suddenly Jonathan said that Ali had a bug on her head. O.o
So...removed the tick...took it outside and lit it on fire. Came back inside...removed another tick from JONATHAN's head...took it outside, burnt it...then checked Nik's head.
We will be picking up a nice hat for Ali...Jonathan's got a ton of them.
Still need to fill a few characters on FR...so if you write...have read Furuba...and I haven't hit you up yet...

EDIT: Has been trying to upload my pictures from J's parties for the last couple of days, so you all can see the handy dandy cakes I made. I *think* I need a new transfer cord thingy...(or to figure out where to stick the card thingy at too...)
