You know, it never occurred to me, before reading your fic, that Tohru's grandpa actually knowing about Kyo and Kyoko's relationship might totally be possible. I spend my time making up theories on how it's gonna end, and I never thought of that ! Can you believe it ? XD Who knows, he might even hold the explanation to that sad sentence Kyoko said aloud in front of Kyo before she died. I cannot believe Takaya will leave that unexplained. That would also explain why Grandpa always seem to remember Kyo very well (although orange-haired people are not that common in Japan, I'll grant you that) and why he always seems to guess everything when it comes to Kyo caring so much for his granddaughter...
That totally looks like something Takaya would do. I love this idea ! Would it be okay if I'd mention it on the forums (both English anf French) and post a link to your fic ?

Yes, I'm not sure what Grandpa knows, but I am sure that Kyoko used every ounce of her energy as she was dying trying to get Kyou that message--only to have him run away during it. Knowing Kyoko...she continued to yell at him LOOOOOONG after he was out of earshot...
I personally think that Komaki will be the one to give them the answer. Tohru was SO out of it, I don't think she would remember the events surrounding that time period and probably didn't hear some of the 'rumors' that flew around during that time. She didn't even remember Manabe...
My guess (and this is pure speculation) is that Komaki would have heard that Kyoko was calling for some red haired kid that ran away to find and take care of Tohru (or something) Yuki goes to school, Manabe finds out about Tohru and tells Komaki, Komaki goes to visit and finds Kyou with Tohru and just assumes that he's the kid...and says something about it.
Ah...but then...I think too much XD
