I finally know the one thing you're afraid to hear me say.
Since 2003, the year the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie came out, pirate attacks have been on the rise world wide. Particularly devastating is the activity off the coast of Somalia, which is cutting off the flow of humanitarian aid to the region.
I think it is time to tell Hollywood to acknowledge their own influence, and stop making films which glorify criminal and other lifestyles that contribute to economic and/or moral decay. We can not tolerate Johnny Depp glamorizing piracy any longer. Please write a letter to your congressmen requesting action be taken to put a stop to Hollywood evil once and for all.
