Since graduating from college I have been in a constant state of dehydration. This is something that hasn't been true since elementary school. One theory is that I drink a lot more beer. That's true, but I also drink a lot more water, and a lot less pop. Those probably don't quite balance, but the dehydration continues even when I go weeks or a month without alcohol. I've been stymied for a long time, but I think I've found the solution. I'm actually not drinking more water, just more glasses of water.
In both high school and college I had easy and near constant access to drinking fountains. Compulsive person that I am, I almost never passed on without drinking for a second or two. It didn't seem like much at the time, but I've concluded it must have equaled several glasses a day.
Solution? Build drinking fountains in my house.
