Story Description: His guilt was overwhelming.
Out of Sight

It was Sesshoumaru's fault, not that Kagome laid blame.
In the final battle, he had overestimated her.
He had forgotten her humanity.
Perfectly aimed caustic poison had hit Naraku face-on... and Kagome.
The human Kagome.
The guilt that followed was foreign, burdensome.
So he watched her.
Because she could no longer watch for herself.
She stayed within his sight, hoping to spontaneously heal.
She didn't.
Unable to deny her disability, Kagome returned home.
Across time...
Overwhelmingly far...
Sesshoumaru couldn't see her any more.
...and found himself suddenly blinded.
