So these two customers came up in line to buy their DVDs. And after small talk, some banter and me trying to sell them a B&N card, they joined. Then one said as they were about to leave, "I just have to tell you. You have the most beautiful smile, it lights up your whole face and your eyes, which are gorgeous. You're whole attitude is refreshing, you are the whole package." And I was as red as a beat, but it just made my day. Too bad he was gay, damn. Guh, I loved it. Wish it were Jakey G saying that, but, yeah, I'm happy, discontent, of course, but happy over that, sompin sompin.
James Ellroy is coming to our store, I'm uber excited. I don't care if I work that day, I'm listening to his discussion and getting his autograph. The Black Dahlia is so good, and noir-ish. His writing is so...so...can't think of anything, but me loves it. I can't wait for the movie, as I absolutely lurrved LA Confidential. On the other hand, the movie tickets are crazy expensive, so I must choose wisely what movie to watch, :/ So strange I'm used to watching a gazillion movies with my mom, and now its been a vertible drought on the movie front, in the good 'ole City of Angels. Le Suck.
Day to day. Whatever comes, I'll keep treading. I've never be deluged too much, so I'll stay afloat. I've got faith, life can't shit on me too much. Right? Live each new day. My future is just that, the future. It'll come without me obsessing over it, so, I'll keep living day by day. *Sigh*
