shelter blues
There is a ton of work drama going on that I've really been trying to stay out of. Like, literally I've been hiding behind my computer monitor whenever anyone storms into or out of the director's office in tears. I haven't eaten lunch in the break room in weeks just because I don't want to get into a conversation about it because I think the whole thing is stupid. But my boss just ruined my grand plan and came at me with a verrrrrrrrrry interesting offer. Not tempting, not outrageous, just...interesting.

My friend Lauren who is an Animal Control Officer in Oakland sent me these pictures today:
Yes, someone put a kitten into that container.
Yes, that person also left the container and kitten in someone's yard.
Yes, the person who found it also put the container in their car and drove it to the shelter to surrender. Just like that.
