I've tried this before and it really works. I had my usual dinner time out-sourced telemarketer phone call this evening as I was making dinner. Typically, the line was real fuzzy and I couldn't hear anything. Then I could hear a lady asking for a Mrs. Hayyyee, so I just kept repeating "hello" for a little longer and then hung up, like I was getting pranked.
I feel horrible as I write this, but to me it seems the nicest way to get out of being convinced to change my mobile phone plan, etc.... Am I horrible, or just clever?
