i think i will start a new recurring entry that pertains to stories that i hear about from day to day. These stories will relate to anything that makes those gears in your brain grind away and come to a screeching halt.
Todays' entry is a story that i heard on the radio, so forgive me if the details arent very clear or accurate.
Apparently four prison inmates discovered that the doors to their cells were not properly locked. Somewhere in the lock down system, there was a short which lead to the improper locking of the said inmates cells. Of course the prisoners exploit the malfunction and seize the opportunity to leave the prison (notice how i said leave, not escape, you'll see why i did that in a second). The four prisoners proceeded to go to the nearest liqour store and buy themselves a few cases of beer. Fortunately the prisoners were caught a short time there after.
How were they caught you ask?
was it a tip from a citizen? nope
crafty detective work? hardly
the prisoners got caught on account of...the prison guards finding the cases of beer in their cells.
that wasnt a mistake, you read that properly. the guards found the cases of beer in the prisoners' cells
all four prisoners came back
they came back to the prison!
how retarded is that?!
I laughed my ass off for a good twenty minutes.
An opportunity to escape from prison, possibly indefinetly, and they went right back to it after picking up a case.
makes ya wonder, doesnt it?
