I haven't written in a while. Things are good, hectic. Basically I survived TFA bootcamp, more months of a military long-distance relationship, a lot of intoxication, living in Harlem, grad school, teaching...
I'm enjoying my first grad school in Special Ed--it's an overview of SPED policy and court precedent. I have NO idea what I want to do after two years of teaching (especially in Norfolk...how does one move from New York to Norfolk? ugh, damn you, feelers), but this is a good omen I think.
Meghan, you're the only one who reads this...move to new york. Or Norfolk. Basically, be my faux side mistress, or live-in nanny, whatever.
Friendships are changing, and not always for the better. I am more aware than ever of who actually cares and wants to invest in friendships. Relationships are work and purposeful investment--I see that now more than ever.
