starting july off with a bang
Tonight was a lot of fun and I definitely needed it to feel a little more connected again. Ana and Audrie had a party at their apt for Jenna's birthday and for the 4th, since Lancaster does their fireworks on friday night. It was huge...tons and tons and tons of people showed up...quite a few I didn't know. Kim, Christian, and I decided to brave the crazy Lancaster mob scene on the hunt for funnel cakes and french fries. Healthy, I know. We got our food and practically ran back to the apt...ugh...the crowd was a little much for us. We sat up our balcony, which is right above ana and audrie's and started eating, watching the fireworks. A few minutes into the spectacle,massive amounts of rain started falling from the sky... It was awesome. I love summer storms. A lot of people ran for cover from the rain, but us hardcore kick ass people decided to stand on the roof of the Good Year building in huge puddles of water and watch the fireworks. Kim, Jenna, and I started wrestling in the puddles and all three of us ended up completely soaked. I had so much fun! I haven't been that soaked since i went swimming in my clothes at the mid-ohio con.
There was some bad in the evening, but I'm not going to talk about that because it's not my story to tell. I'm just glad you're safe and I'm sooo sorry I wasn't there!! *snuggles*
I really needed tonight. I had a great time, minus the above, and I got to spend time with everyone. Even Tim was there, which totally made my night. I adore that boy and we don't get to see each other very often. I didn't take many pics, but I'll post the few I did.
