So today I saw the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and loved it!! I started reading the book again last night (I stole it from Christian's room). Such a fun, light-hearted movie! They definitely managed to capture the spirit and humor of the book. I also started reading the shojo manga I got sent from the Tart for review. I got Doubt!! #1, Ceres: Celestial Legend #1, and Princess Tutu. I read Doubt!! and really enjoyed it. I've never really reviewed anything before, so this should be interesting.
This evening I hung out with Shawn, Net, and Christian and watched A Series of Unfortunate Events once again. I've only read the first book, but I think I want to get the rest of them. It's a cute series, and I've been devouring books lately. I think I'm trying to make the most of my free time before I start working again. I was going to come home and go to sleep after I dropped Net off, but I gave Ana a call and decided to head over to Kim's and watch Donnie Darko instead. it was definitely a day of movies! Another late night...4am...I think it's going to be hard adjusting to a normal schedule again...
Last night Mel and I hung out at Christian's parent's house with him. He's house sitting while his parents are on a cruise somewhere much warmer then here. The president babbled incoherently for over an hour, so the OC wasn't on. But next week there's two back to back new episodes! What a kick ass birthday present! =P. We ended up spending a long time in the hot tub talking to make up for the lack of california drama. The three of us are going to be going on vacation to New Orleans in October! I'm soo excited. My first non-convention vacation in as long as I can remember. We spent awhile chatting and planning what we wanted to do on the trip. Mel's never flown before, so she's a little nervous. It's going to be soo much fun though...and the hot tub was sooo nice! It was definitely a fun night.
Not sure what's going on for tomorrow yet, but I'm sure I'll find something interesting to get into. Sweet dreams!
