Well now thats over with....
The food drive is going well yesterday it was cold and rainy and we only collected 62 bags of food and $37.05 in cash.
Today it is really cold sunny but windy i hope we do better then yeasteday, so far we have 15 bags of food and $20.25.
I wish i could do more. these people dont have hot water, some don't even have homes. I just want to make sure they can eat. to give you an idea how much is needed a month they give away about 1500 boxes of mac& cheese and 550 jars of pb and j. a bag of just the one item holds between 25-30 boxes of mac&cheese and 8-12 jars of pb and j. we still have a lot of work to do.....
I think somewhere in the bible it says Cloth the naked, shelter the homeless, nurce the sick, and feed the hungry..... i really wish i could do more....
well I hope eveyone has a happy new year..... oh and my corset will be finished by sunday.
