I will NOT get my hopes up. I will not get my hopes up. I will not

So, this was in my inbox today:

Hi Sarah - I was wondering if you are working?  I am going to hit my new
boss (the Station Director) up for either a part-time position or a 30-day
full time special needs position.  The duties would not be highly exciting,
but you would be WAY more than capable and I just wanted to find out before
I go looking elsewhere if you found a job (I actually hope you did)?  The
duties would be getting my paperwork organized and filed and other clerical
types of duties.  I am working on a list of all the work I have backlogged
today and should know better tomorrow what all I can have someone else do.
Let me know your situation or if you know of another person with a
disability you think could do these tasks.  I would like to give some
exposure to employees in our office to a person with disability as I keep
hearing the excuses and we still haven't hired anyone.
Let me know on my questions about the job so I can proceed in other
directions if necessary.  Thanks!
