Snow in April
It was in the 80s last weekend. I even got a sunburn on a little part of my arm I missed with sunblock. This weekend......it is snowing! It's not sticking, but still...
My bro ran into the parents of one of my old friends today.
And it just reminded me how flipping annoyed with her I am.
You see, she's living with her boyfriend.
Now, I am Mormon...and I don't believe in living with a member of the opposite sex without marrying them first. But I would never stop being someone's friend because they were doing something I didn'tr believe in.
But she doesn't see me that way.
Now, this particular friend happens to be Mormon as well. We grew up together in the same congregation. She always seemed a little off to me about things related to friendship, but I still was her friend She even had the nerve to lecture me ponce about something church related and she had stopped going to church.Oh, that enraged me, but I let it go.
I know she's living with her boyfriend now.
She's never out and out said so, but I know she is.
And really. I. Don't. Care.
But it bothers me that she won't be honest with me. I don't want to be friends with someone who is not telling me the whole truth just to save themselves from me. And it's awkward.Lying about where you live is hard.
Anyways, I'm tired. I'm willfully skipping stake conference tomorrow. I just don't want to go.
