In the shadows of small buildings
One of the most interesting and annoying aspects of moving back home is watching my parents. My dad is nothing short of a bored, bitter, old man. He has a cloud contantly over his head. He complains about everything - his job, poliics, us, everything. It is very draining to be in his presence. He won't listen to any of us -- even a valid observation from his children is just that -- from his children, so it is devoid of his respect. He is a very prdeful man. Its hard to deal.
My mom is very dependent on my dad. Yet, sometimes she won't let my dad get away with his crap...sometimes he listens to her -- more than me or my brothers. She is the only one who can get him to leave the TV every weekend (he is the only person I know who can watch 5 movies back to back at top volume when the rest of us are trying to live life in the backgound.) Just the fact that my parents have so much influence over each other is interesting. Marriage...
Hannah called me today; so did Ontario. i feel so loved. I miss my utah friends.
Oh,and i cut my hair yesterday. I need to post a pic.
Oh, and I may have a job with the city with the parks and recreation department! I would get to work with disaled people!
