Lizzy
I get to see my former foster Lizzie again! Wow... it's been almost 2 years since we fostered her, so she obviously won't remember me.
I'm helping an ACR adoptathon on the weekend that is not to far from where I live, and Lizzy will be one of the cats there.
The foster home where she's at now is not able to sequester her in a bathroom when people come for adoption, and since she's shy of strangers (& probably still skittish), she doesn't show well at all and just hides :(
I told the foster coordinator that if she doesn't get adopted at the event, we will take her back to foster again. I know we can get some really good photos, and socialze her some more and show her in a small room where someone can actually get to know her. This will better her chances for adoption.
I didn't think we'd foster again now that Annie is gone, until maybe the fall, or at the earliest, June when Dutchie leaves. I guess we'll see.
Tonight we get to visit Annie at her adoptive home where she's doing well! YAY!
