Maddie update
Maddie is already improved! Really, I don't think it's just me - she looks better, and acts better :)
Her fur seems shiner and not all droopy anymore the way cats fur is when they're sick. She is eating larger portions with longer in between (since we have to work yaknow), and she seems fine with that. I patted her all the way down to her butt, and even touched her tail a tiny bit. I took my comb and brushed on her head and cheeks and partway down her back where she's not matted and she really seemed to like it. And we played with the feather on a stick, and I have her a bunch of toys she seems really interested in.
She let me touch her front paws, and I think she's declawed :(
BUT... (end on a good note) she even let me cut some mattes out of her fur :)) But not the gum from tail - still can just barely touch it without the hissing. It must hurt something terrible... R is coming over tomorrow to see if she can help cut some more mattes out too.
