Me: "I don't know."
User 1: "But you're the IT guy!"
User 2: "Why won't this font work?"
Me: "You'll have to contact the original sender and have them re-send it to you."
User 2: "But you're the IT guy!"
Could this behavior parallel mankind's need to believe in something all powerful and all knowing? Could it be that they'd rather put their faith in someone else or something else instead of taking the time to think things out in a calm and rational manner? Perhaps faith and religion are simply crutches for the helpless, hapless, and the exasperated.
Or perhaps I just need to start drinking during work.
