A quick little update for everybody, cuz I haven't posted in a couple of days. Hmmm, what's been new?? Well, I just had my spring break, which is ridiculous, but whatever, it was enjoyable. I didn't go anywhere, but I spent it with good people, and mainly just relaxed, enjoying the fact that I didn't have to wake up to go to school. A couple days of work were annoying, but the rest of my work days were fun. I still feel like going to work is more of a hangout there, as everyone I work with is cool, and I have befriended many of my co-workers. I'm due for a raise in June, and if it's not big enough, then I might not be staying there, because honestly, as much as I love the people there, and as much as I feel comfortable doing the job, like the back of my hand, I deserve more money for the responsibility I have and the fact that I have to work from 4 to close, which is basically 1 am. If we closed at 10, it wouldn't be so bad, but my social life is limited because I close so late. Besides the fact that I work like every holiday, and I hate that, I want to be with my family. Anyway, I'm not gonna bitch about that anymore, work is work I guess. Currently, I'm procrastinating on doing my Sociology presentation, because I don't think I am going to go tomorrow. If I have to go tomorrow, then I'm screwed, but there are a lot of people ahead of me. I probably should do it though, perhaps after dinner. I have a couple of good concerts coming up, and I'm psyched about them. In July, I'll be seeing Powerman 5000, and their CD, "Tonight the Stars Revolt!" was the first CD I ever bought. I was a cassette person for a long time, and now, as I look to my right, I am definitely a CD person now. I don't download my CD's like some of you other thieves. I have a couple of downloaded songs, but I buy CD's dammit. BEST BUY TUESDAYS!! I love when new music is out. Oh yeah, I've been playing Predator: Concrete Jungle for Playstation 2, and I don't play many video games, but of course, I had to get this one, and although it got some negative reviews, I am very satisfied with it. The Predator itself looks awesome, and it has all the weapons and costumes and sounds from the movies, with additional stuff, a decent enough storyline, and although the overall game could be better, it's still good to me, and I'm having a great time with it. Gary, Steve and Pat from work have all played it and said they like it as well, so it doesn't take a huge Predator fan to enjoy it. By the way, I'm sure all of you know about my Predalero, you know, my car with the license plate and tattoo. Well, I'm currently working on another little Predator surprise, so I'll keep you all posted. Let me just say that it will be something that I'm wearing, not my car. Also, I had to tape the season premiere of Family Guy because I was working, and although I have seen better episodes, it was a very good opening episode, and I was satisfied. A little trivia for you: The original voice of Meg Griffin in the first episodes of Family Guy was none other than my future wife, Lacey Chabert. See my live journal entry on February 11th, 2005 for a pic. Anyway, I have a bunch of off days sprinkled in within the next two weeks, so if anyone wants to hang out, anyone at all, just let me know, and most likely I would love to. Talk to you all very soon. Let's go Cardinals!!
