Why have I just had to repeatedly enter my password (correctly!) to get you to do anything? This last update has been a total nuisance, if it's been anything! Jeesh.

In other news, I need someone local to go with me to the Chinese buffet, and soon. I'm hankering for it hard, and it's unacceptably hard to find someone to go with me. I don't particularly like to go to sit-down places by myself, and as a general rule, I don't... but it's beginning to look a lot like I'm going to have to break that. The only people I think I have who would go are KJ and J, but J is dog-knows-where right now (even if I can guess) and KJ, from the best I can tell, worked last night, and is home and in bed now, and most likely won't be up for a lunchtime go. I'd prefer to go at lunchtime, because it's cheaper, but if it were dinnertime, I wouldn't care so much... other than that BF would most likely be back up by then, and then he'd not want to go there, and I'd probably have to hear about it.
Beyond that, it now appears that I'm gonna have to go up to SOL's house to look at BF's nephew's Christmas computer. MOL and FOL and SOL all mentioned it the other night, before I went on the wild goose chase for zebra valances. None of them could tell me anything useful to even have an idea what to check into, and then SOL never called me back about that like she said she would. MOL mentioned this morning that someone was supposed to come look at it, but never did. I don't even know what the problem is or if there's anything I can do with it, but I may as well go poke at it and see. Given that SOL and the rest of them are pretty "computarded", it could be something stupidly simple... but I'm not super computer man either. I've been able to take apart a desktop and install new parts, with a set of instructions, but I don't know what I'll be able to do with a laptop, necessarily.
