An open letter:

Dear Shoppers:

If you are in the store, and you have a child who is shrieking at pitches and decibels that would make a banshee cringe, TAKE IT HOME. Unless, of course, you are willing to pay for the damages caused to my eardrums. I, frankly, do not get paid enough. Take it home, or otherwise shut it up.

Loath,
Me

In other news, there really is no other news.

Actually, that's not true. Due to some odd hitch, I was paid for my former position on the last paycheck. I brought it to people's attention. I was put off and told that they'd get back to me when they had a minute. That was Thursday. If they don't handle it by Friday, I will get overpaid again. I'm not minding... but it's not right. However, I did bring it to people's attention. If it does not get handled promptly, this is not my fault.

Also, I did find out what my bonus for fiscal year 2008 is looking to be. It made me VERY happy. I can use that kind of money for SURE.

And that, my friends, I believe, is all.

work, money, screaming children, bonus
