--Bah, cleaning. I hate it.
--Brownies, on the other hand, are delicious.
--I'm almost done with the next installment of my awful Whose Line? badfic series. I need to get back to doing this more regularly.
--Also about done with season two of Burn Notice, in my grand rewatching extravaganza. Love this show.
--Did I mention I hate cleaning?
--These are the last two questions for the writing meme. I'm a little sad; it's been fun.
29. How often do you think about writing? Ever come across something IRL that reminds you of your story/characters?
I think about writing near constantly. If only I could actually write as often. I like to think of my head as a giant room with a fireplace, a bunch of overstuffed chairs, tons of bookshelves on the walls packed with books, some board games, even a stereo and a television, maybe a Wii thrown in too for good measure; basically, it's a place where all my characters converge and hang out. They interact a lot and they like to comment on things, so plenty of stuff IRL will make me think of them. I mean, Maria never shuts up whenever I'm watching Criminal Minds, and Isabella has commented on things my professors have said as I'm taking notes. (I remember one time one of my professors started imitating a stereotypical mobster and she piped up, all, "The fuck? If any of our brothers acted that way, Nic and I would laugh our asses off.")
30. Final question! Tag someone! And tell us what you like about that person as a writer and/or about one of his characters!
I would, but all of the people I'd tag are already doing it/have done it/are planning on doing it. I guess I tag Geena. Though I think she's planning to do it too. I don't know. And I have already mentioned what I like about her as a writer, so I will add that I give her props for making David supremely interesting; certainly one of the most interesting Corlionis. I don't like him much, but he is absolutely fascinating, and I think straddling that line can be tough. I mean, if you hate a character too much, you don't want to find out more about them, no matter how interesting they may be, and David avoids that trope.
I should finish picking up the living room. Fun times.
