Epic chase scenes are more epic on horseback.

So I dreamt that I was Colonel Potter's niece, because his evil twin was married to my mom, who was apparently really wealthy. (He was my step-dad.) Well, my mom--who, incidentally, looked like Vivien Leigh--died randomly (it was under suspicious circumstances) and the will was "lost" somewhere, so evil!Colonel Potter was going to get all of her money.

I, however, did not trust my step-dad, and so went into Plucky Girl Detective mode and untangled the mystery of where the will was hidden. Evidently, evil!Colonel Potter had stolen it and hidden it in this secret compartment in the saddle for his horse. Yeah, I don't know.

It ended with me sneaking out the back of his cabin, stealing his horse, and galloping away at top speed toward the sheriff's office, followed in pursuit by evil!Colonel Potter on regular!Colonel Potter's horse. When I finally got to the sheriff's, regular!Colonel Potter was already there, (he was friends with the sheriff, who looked a lot like Sidney) and he was pissed at his evil twin for stealing his horse. Then I showed them all the will that he had stolen/hidden, and after denying it for awhile, he eventually confessed to killing my mom.

I'm not sure where my brain got this, but now I have a large desire to watch M*A*S*H.
