I just feel the need to say this.
I know a lot of people. Said people vary on certain opinions, and I do not agree with them on every single issue. I don't expect to, nor do I want to. Different opinions and the possibility of discussion are what make life interesting. I enjoy debate. In most cases, I am able to respectfully disagree with others.
That said, I do not, cannot, and never will respect the notion that gay people should be second-class citizens. I will never, under any circumstances, respect the opinion that two people in love with each other should be denied marriage rights simply because they happen to be the same gender. It is, quite frankly, not a respectable opinion. It is bigoted, narrow-minded, and just plain wrong.
End of story.
