Any fellow traveller on this road we call life will definitely agree that as people, we store, cherish, and drag around emotional rubbish from all major relationships in our life. Whether it's resentment and anger towards your mother, lessons learned from your favorite teacher, or the tear-jerking heartache of the one who got away... there's always a residual feeling that you associate with that person.
Even though you grow out of your spiteful and anger-filled emotions, no one can truly say when it is we learn to forgive and forget, or move on. It's as if the overhead compartment of your heart is much too large for your average carry on and the emotional baggage you brought along for the ride has shifted in flight.
One night can change everything, bring back the feelings of the dead you'd long packed away. And here come the questions and feelings...
Do we ever really learn from our mistakes or do we take the road less travelled?
