Seriously. The poundage can stop any time.
"Torrential rains" was what the meteorologist just declared for Lincoln.
Tornado sirens went off once already tonight, which meant of course that I went out with my camera.
What? The tornado was moving just north of the city. I'm not quite north. I was safe. *eyedart*
There was a poor gal just moved from Arizona freeeeeaking out when I went out, so I think it was a good thing that I did go out with my camera. Apparently with my camera while the sirens were going off meant "native" to her - so I explained what was up and not to worry.
There, my good deed for the day.
That was earlier this evening. There's currently MEGA storm in my parents neck of the woods - but will stay west of them, I think. But the same area that got hit by tornadoes in my last post - they're getting slammed again.
And it's still downpouring here. Have I mentioned the rain? Torrential. It's been downpouring for the past hour.
MEGA storm still possibly headed towards my neck of the woods. We're in a tornado watch till 4am and flashflood warnings like mad. Oh REALLY?? You mean that torrential rain needs to go somewhere? And the waterlevels in the soil were already high?
Now, because it amuses me, the radar taken mebbe 15-30 min ago. LINCOLN IS GOING TO GET EATEN ALIVE!!!!!
Did I mention rain? It's raining. Lots.
I hope I don't float away. Or tornadoes suck me up while I sleep. Forget sleeping! Gah.
