okay, wtf?
so, i'm just sitting in my apt, minding my own business (and doing some writing) and shit just erupts.
i hear squealing tires. then nothing for a while. then i hear more cars screaching and flying up to parking lot of my apt.
i hear a male voice shouting obscinities, couldn't really catch what was being said apart from 'blah blah blah mother fucker blah blah blah!'
and i hear more voices shoutings (cops?).
and then a dog just went NUTS.
barking barking BARKING like mad.
what i have so far gathered from spying like a good neighbor.
a car was involved in fleeing from the cops? the cops were chasing. the guy(s) driving fucked up the car, ditched it in my parking lot. (i hear one of the cops say something about 'broken drive shaft') and apparently got out to flee on foot. the cops caught one (the guy screaming obscinities?) or maybe not and he was screaming as he ran past on foot. not sure. but i know the cops are out warning houses in the neighborhood that there's someone out on foot.
then i overhear the cops wondering if they should call someone to tow the vehicle now, another remarks that 'no, it's a private lot.'
hah. yeah. a private lot that TOWS. shoulda towed the car, coppers. you're not going to have a clue where the car is come morning.
not sure why they brought the k-9 unit - either drugs were involved or they were using him to help them nab the person(s) they were chasing.
lotsa cop cars. lotsa cops.
i really hope this is written up in the LJS tomorrow so i can find out what the hell went down outside my apt window.
