A multi-faceted babbling nothing post of blatant and shameful bore

first off, lolcatz lovers or TW viewers, read this. LOLZ OMG I CAN HAZ LOLZ!

second, Music ala XP and Vista. i wish i had enough time in my day to do something remotely this cool.

thirdly, if you've never heard john barrowman sing, watch Anything Goes now. and if you have no clue who JB is, watch now and admire the pretty and the talented and have i mentioned the pretty? and then go find yourself a copy of Torchwood Seasons 1 and 2. And Megalodon: Shark Attack 3, if you can get your hands on it. Unedited, for best effects. If not, google "that famous line" and watch the first link. ;)

fourth - politics. let's get this straight. hillary clinton DID NOT WIN TEXAS. she lost. nor did she win NEVADA. what's that? she won the popular vote of the primary? okay, now, let me see here, how well did that work out for al gore in 2000? oh right, it didn't. obama netted +1 in nevada, and +3/+4 in texas (edit: obama's site says +5 in texas, not to mention a +8 swing after the california double-bubble trouble recount - clinton -4, obama +4). let's get the stories straight in the media plzktnx.

fourth.5 - if tina fey can call clinton a 'bitch' and clinton doesn't complain, why does she get to throw a tizzy when someone calls her a 'monster'?

fifth - there was a surveyUSA poll recently that said that in the GE, nebraska would go McCain - 45, Obama - 42. yeah, that's right. nebraska. it's possible that the electoral votes would split 3-2. *gasps in shock and falls over at red nebraska turns a murky purple* plus, if obama's the dem nom, it's very possible that nebraska could end up with -2- dem senators. TWO! not that nebraska dem politicians are identical to MA dems, but still. TWO!

sixth - ah, i <3 conflicts of interest in the morning! clinton's chief strategist (Mark Penn) is the CEO of Burson-Marsteller. mccain's top advisor (Charlie Black) is the top republican chairman of bipartisan lobbying firm BKSH - a subsidary of Burson-Marsteller. the top democrat of BKSH? supports clinton. from burson-marsteller's code of ethics: We will not have any personal or family conflicts of interest within our businesses or with our suppliers or other third parties with whom we do business; We will not for personal or family gain directly or indirectly engage in any activity which competes with companies within WPP or with our obligations to any such company.

because ... clinton vs mccain wouldn't be a conflict of interest for burson-marsteller. and ... in general, seems like a win-win for Mark Penn.

that disgusts me.

if the dem party can survive clinton (and i mean that very literally - she's poised to pretty much destroy it, especially if she gets the nom), the dem party can kiss their hopes and ethics-reform dreams buh-bye.

and, just because my ire is rising with the political state of our nation, here, go watch pretty gay boys swinging hammers at anvils now. one of my fav pieces anywho, but this just makes me giggle. not to mention, apparently, size does matter.
