that was one thing i wanted to focus on - how jack and ianto became jack and ianto. now, i know i'm AU as far as series canon goes...but i like a little explanation to go with my stopwatches and BBM moments! ;)

what happens next? oh, fluffy kittens. puffy hearts. laughter and merriment.

it only took me 11 chapters to get 'em there but look! face-to-face sex! ;)

i'm a non-violent person by nature, but the image of ianto with a gun (thank you, canon) is just...guh. good mental images. and canon images. i want to see jack teaching ianto to shoot in canon like he did gwen, dang it.

jean-luc? oh. you mean you liked him? huh. whoops. er. um. shit. well. er. *quietly takes out notes, erases "Jean-Luc struck by tree branch while walking for tea. Ianto sad. Jack hides hack saw in spare Weevil cell."*

Man the drama! The poor boy's not really getting much slack is he? ::grins:: I love it!

Your storytelling is just superb; you make me read this fic almost as if it were canon, it's that believable and gripping. The building relationship between Jack and Ianto again makes me squee and squirm deliciously in turn and that scene right at the end with their kiss and Jack's asking Ianto to come back made me wibble so terribly.

I have loads of angst though- what's wrong with Jean-Luc? I've become rather attached to the man, especially after his being there for Ianto when he most needed someone. I hope he- and all the Children of Avalon- will be alright! (But not 'too' alright, I do like my angst!)

Oh, and last thing: One petal spotted this chapter. My intrigue grows ;)
