why plot small when you can plot big, create your own 'verse and completely lose your mind in the fic instead of doing anything else for 5 months?

yup. the previous parts were prologue. there will be around 6 in this section, then a future/series 2 section which will wrap the shades of ianto story. much fic to go.

I started reading this when it was in the prologue stage (I think I got to about the 2nd or 3rd chapter), but I've finally caught up. Wonderful, wonderful story you've got so far. Makes me wish this were all real (in the Torchwood realm, obviously) because it's written so fantastically.

You've got such a wonderful style, and the story is so complete with the way you write. I can't wait for more :)

actually (since i'm beyond that point now in fic), in true canon, i have a hard time believing they shagged before - unless there was a very good explanation. and i have a really hard time believing that they hopped into bed quickly afterwards (or at all, despite canon throwing them in bed by TKKS). i've laid the groundwork in the prologue/this chapter, and there's more that i'm dealing with next chapter/future chapters that my theory of how/why they got together after.

but again, that's my 'verse and not true canon. BUT i think that one aspect could be used as a rationalization with roots in human psychology....but i won't get into that yet. that would spoil all the fun! ;)
