Birthday
Hey all...sorry for the lack of entries lately. With finals and everything it has been so freakin busy. Anyway, my birthday was yesterday and it was freakin awesome. My parents took me to NY. We stayed in the mariott Marquis, seriously the nicest hotel I have ever been in. We saw three shows, 42nd Street, Mamma Mia, and Hairspray. OMG, Hairspray was fuckin amazing. Harvey Firestein is my new hero. He was hilarious. The show was so high energy, and I can't get the songs out of my head. 42nd street was also incredible, the dancing was just awesome. A friend of my family knows the stage manager and so we got to go backstage. It was incredible, the excitement, i could feel it radiating from the walls backstage. I even got to stand on the stage and look out on the house. It really was the best birthday ever. Mamma Mia was awful, but it didn't ruin my time at all. Then we went to Madam Tousseu wax meuseum...which may have been the highlight of the trip (besides Hairspray of course). They had these wax statues of all these celebrities and they looked real...no seriously, they were scary how real they looked. I took a bunch of cool pictures, and had a lot of fun. I will post some soon. Anywho, all and all, my 18th birthday was amazing and made me forget about everything (including Fiddler) and just reminded me how awesome life is and how lucky and fortunate I am. And to my friends; espeically Stace and Steph..I can't tell you how much you mean to me. You are all incredible people and I love you!
