“Mowaah?” Reita groans. He gets up, and shudders as his toes touch the cold floor. Still dark. With his eyes half-closed and his hair messed up ,he appears in front of the window.
“Uruhaaaaaawh?” He yawns.
“What?” His friend shouts.
“Uruha?” Reita repeats.
“Still have to ask that?”
“What’re you doing here…now?” Reita groans. “It’s early…”
“It’s 6 o clock…”
“Like I said…It’s early…”
“I have to talk to you!”
“Go back to bed…” Reita groans.
“I mean it Reita!”
“Okay, okay…I’m coming…” He mumbles.
And he puts on a t-shirt while walking down the stairs. He opens the front door.
He looks at Uruha with one eye, other eye is closed from sleep.
“What?” he says then.
“Can I come in?”
“Think my dad will notice that…” Reita mumbles.
“Oh okay…sorry to disturb you now Reita…But I NEED your advice…”
“At 6 o ‘clock?”
“I couldn’t sleep…You see…I have a small…problem…”
Reita groans. “If it’s small then let it wait till the morning…”
“It is morning…”
“Not in Reita-time…”
Uruha grins. Reita is so adorable when he is just awake.
“Well, tell me the fucking problem Uru, then I can get back to bed…”
“I have PE as first class.”
“So?”
“I have PE together with Kai…”
“SO?”
“That means I have to take a shower…With Kai…”
“SO?”
“Don’t you get it?” Uruha says a bit in panic.
“…No?” Reita says.
“The last time…I got an erection…”
“Huh?”
“You know what an erection is right?”
“…Yes…”
“Well I got one…”
“So do I…happens to every guy…” Reita mumbles.
Uruha groans. He must have brought some coffee with him to wake Reita up.
“Don’t you get it asshole? When I get erections cause of naked Kai…How can I possibly take a shower then?”
But Uruha talks to deaf mans ears. And he notices that himself…
He couldn’t resist to smile as he sees Reita sleeping against the front door.
“REITA!” Uruha smacks him at his shoulder.
“Zzzzhuh-what?” he mumbles.
“Oh, never mind…”
Reita yawns. “I’m sorry Uru…But can’t you get problems at descent times?”
Uruha sighs. “It was also stupid to wake you up cause of this…”
“Kind of yes…” But Reita grins.
Uruha sighs again. He still didn’t feel relieved at all.
Reita notices it. “Okay…” he says then. “You can come in…But be quiet, my dad kills me if I wake him up…”

“Look! Ruki! Kai! That’s her!” Aki shouts suddenly.
They’re in the school-library again, Kai listening to his mp3, Ruki making homework. Aki keeping the conversation up and checking girls. He was looking for her for days now…And there she was. In their own school-library…So she DOES go to this school…
“Eh…Who? Where?” Ruki says. Happy for some distraction from his homework. And Aki’s crush was way more interesting then his math-problems…
“There! The one with the purple streaks!” Aki says.
“…She? Is that your new crush?” Ruki says. “Wow Aki! That’s a different type…”
“ So what? Isn’t she fantastic?” he smiles like a little boy. “Isn’t she Kai?”
“Hmmm?” Kai asks. Not paying attention with his headphones in his ears.
“I said: Isn’t she fantastic?” Aki says while he pulls out Kai’s headphones.
“HEY!” Kai says indignant. “ that was my most favourite song…”
“That can wait! Look Kai! Over there…That’s HER!” Aki shouts excited.
“Who? The colourful one?”
“Yes she!”
“Wow she is a different type then usual…”
“Who cares about what type? She is…fantastic! Right?”
Ruki stares at the girl. “Yes…” He mumbles then. “yes she quite is…”
“SEE?” Aki says happy.
Kai laughs. “Well, Aki, what’re you waiting for? Go!”
“Go? And do what?” Aki asks.
“Do what? DO WHAT?” Ruki says. “Doh! Ask her what the correct value of pi is!”
“Huh?” Aki says.
“Maybe you must do what you always do with girls?” Kai smiles.
“You mean…unleash my magic?” Aki asks a bit insecure.
“Yes! Yes indeed!” Kai smiles. “Go for it…” He pushes Aki from his chair.
“AUCH!” He shouts as he falls from his chair on the floor. He rubs over his painful ass.
”Well? Why you’re still here?” Ruki grins. “MOVE IT!” And he also pushes Aki.
“Okay, okay! I’m going…”

Aki moves forward to the girl, who is cheerful smiling to her friends, while reading a book.
Her girlfriends notice him earlier then she does. “Psst…Masumi?” One asks.
“Huh?” Masumi smiles. “yes?”
“Someone is coming…”
“Who?” the girl asks cheerful. And she looks up and notices Aki.
“OOOOH! UMBRELLA MAN!”  She shouts.
”Eh…yes!” Aki smiles.
“Have you come to check if I dropped my umbrella again? How SWEET!” She smiles.
Aki laughs. “Well…can’t be too sure eh?”
“Ahuh!” She says nodding. And then she continues reading, but smiles.
“Eh…So…What’s your name?” Aki asks then.
”Me? I’m,” She makes a strange move with her body, she wiggles with her arms. “Masumi!” She says cheerful.
Aki laughs, but looks weird at her. Was this a pairings dance?
“Eh…What are you doing?” He asks.
“Dancing! Join!” She says cheerful.
“Eh well…No I’m no good dancer.”
“Sure you are!” She says. And then stares at a point a few meters behind him. She notices Ruki and Kai, who are watching grinning. She waves cheerful.
Aki turns around and sees his friends spying on him. The jerks. He grins to them , but then puts his middle-finger in the air.
“Your friends?” Masumi asks.
‘Yes…” Aki mumbles.
“Then go back to them! You’re not supposed to leave your friends alone!” She smiles. “They’ll miss you!”
“Nah, I wanted to talk to you!” Aki smiles.
“OOOOOH? To me? COOL! Why?”
“Just checking…I wanted to say hi and stuff…”
“Oh, well HI!” She smiles. “And stuff!”
“Yes, yes…Hi, and stuff!” He laughs. His flirty laugh. “So your name is Masumi eh?”
“Yes!” She says, smiling even more cheerful. “And YOUUU?”
“I’m Aki…” He grins.
“Aki…Aki…AKI-CHAN!” She says, making that movement again. “Aki-chan must do the Spaghettidance!”
“The what?” Aki laughs.
“The Saghettidance!” She giggles.
“Well, maybe another time…If you’ll give me your phone-number I’ll call you and then we can go dance?” He says, flirty again. Come on, weren’t this enough hints?
“Phone-number?” She asks cheerful. “And then dance?”
“Yes!” Aki says.
“Why not dance now?” She says.
“Eh…”
“Come on! Dance!” She laughs. She pulls as his sleeve.
Aki grins. “Eh maybe another time…”
“Ah! You’re ashamed!” She shouts then.
“No, well…no it’s just…I can’t dance without music…”
“Then let’s make music!” She says.
Aki laughs again. She is so adorable…”I’d love too…But I first want to know some things about you…”
“About me?”
“yes!” he smiles.
“Oh…I love to do the Spaghettidance?”
“Okay…That I got!” Aki blink-eyes. “But anything else?”
“Eh…” She looks a bit confused. “Well…No?” She laughs again. “what do you want to know then, Aki-chan?”
“Well…I know your name now…Your class?”
She smiles. “I’m one grade under you!’
“…How do you know in which grade I am?”
“I knooooooow you!”She laughs. “Everybody KNOOOOOWS you!”
“You do eh? And what did you hear about me? Good things I hope…” Aki grins his flirty smile again.
“I heard that you’re hot!” Cheerful smile.
Aki laughs. “And…Am I?”
Then she suddenly blushes.
“Well?” Aki grins teasing.
“….” She blushes and doesn’t say anything.
Aki smiles. “You think I’m hot eh?”
She still doesn’t speak.
Then she nods. And smiles a sweet innocent smile.
Aki smiles back. He looks her into her eyes for a few seconds.
“Now I SO want you to give me your phone-number…” he says.

It is a few days after Aki’s trials to hit on Masumi…And he succeeded. Cause they are now dating, at least…They had one date. And according to Aki, it really is going good. Maybe he is in love this time…Maybe this one will last for a while.
“Takanori!”
Ruki turns around, and smiles. “Akane! Hey!”
“Hey!” She smiles too. “Just the person I was looking for…”
“Eh…why? If you need my math-notes…”
Akane laughs. “No, no I have Emi.”
Ruki doesn’t laugh about that remark…He realizes how mean it actually is.
“Eh, well…What do you want then?” he asks.
“Oh, just talking! We see you and Kai less, recently…What happened? Are you having girlfriends?”
”Huh? No…still single…”
“Yeah…Think so, cause if you had girlfriends I would have known…” Akane grins. What she said is true…If anything happens in this school, Akane knows. “But, that’s actually good!”
Ruki looks surprised at her. Is she trying to hit on him or…?
”No, Ruki-kun, not in that way!” She smiles. “But there is a chance for you guys to FIND girlfriends! In a few weeks, a prom will be organized!”
“A prom?”
“Yes! You know, with dresses and dancing and music…and dates!” Akane smiles.
“Ah…” Ruki mumbles.
“And for a change…girls will ask boys!” Akane says happy.
“Huh?”
Akane laughs. “Come on Ruki! Those parties are a real hype in America! Girls ask boys! But of course…You can ask it the other way around…But only when you’re very desperate! I warn you Ruki, let a girl ask you! Otherwise they’ll think you’re very desperate…and that’s not good!” She smiles. “or the girl has to be your girlfriend of course..”
“I don’t have a girlfriend Akane…” Ruki says annoyed.
“Yes, well…Anyway: Isn’t it cool?”
“What?”
“The prom! Isn’t it cool?”
“Guess so…”
Akane looks a bit insulted. “How enthusiastic…”
“Sorry…It indeed sounds cool.” Ruki smiles.
“Good!” Akane smiles. “Cause it is my idea!”
Ruki grins. Typically Akane…
“Well…Will you tell Kai and Aki?” She smiles.
“Course…” Ruki answers.
“Where are you going to actually?”
“Soccer-practice!” Ruki smiles.
“Ah! I see, good luck…And Ruki, we will hang out with you and Kai together soon eh? I understand that Aki is a bit more busy lately…But we do see him often…”
“Yeah…I’ll tell Kai that you miss him!” Ruki grins.
“It’s not especially Kai that I miss!” Akane says smiling. “I miss all my friends I haven’t seen in a while…And we haven’t hang out in weeks!”
“Yeah I know…I was just kidding…I’m sorry…We’ll hang out together soon!” Ruki promises.
“But why are you guys gone so recently then?”
“Eh…I don’t know…” Ruki mumbles. “We’re not doing things we usually don’t do…”
“Hmm…Well if you say so…Oh! Hang on, I also want to meet those new friends of yours!” She smiles then.
And Ruki feels that she wanted to talk about this all the time, apart from the prom…Cause that she also wanted to tell…Akane is very typical in some ways…You always notice if she’s really interested or not.
 Ruki smiles to Akane. “We’ll see…But you already met them…”
“Well…I only introduced myself to that keeper…He’s cool by the way…But I heard there’s someone else too!”
“Yes, Akira…You met him too though…”
“No I didn’t….Did I?” She says.
“Yes you did, he’s the waiter you and Emi are always flirting with…”
“WHAT? He? But…..He’s…So…Gee….” Akane stops walking, and smiles dreamy. “Oh, I really want to know them better!”
”You mean you want to know Akira better!” Ruki grins.
“Maybe…” Akane smiles.
Ruki laughs. But now he reached the point where he has to leave Akane alone. “Bye!” he says, as he walks to the entrance of the soccer-fields.

“Ruki-kun!” Kai smiles, shirtless, wearing soccer-shorts.
“Hey Kai.” Ruki says. “Hey Aki, Uruha!” he smiles to the others. Aki, already changed clothes. Uruha is standing in his jeans, also shirtless.
He is skinny and muscular, just as Kai. But he  is taller.
Ruki hates it to be the shortest one…But it is something that can’t be changed. And thanks to his length he is so fast…So it has some advantages.
Ruki changes his clothes, the others wait for him. Apart from Aki who has to lead the practice cause he’s the captain.
“Oh by the way,” Ruki says to  Kai and Uruha. “Bumped into Akane…She told me she wants to hang out with us more…”
“Well, then she has to come! She knows where we are…” Kai smiles.
“True, but I kind of promised we’ll hang out with her more…”
“Well okay…We’ll see…” Kai smiles.
“Ahuh…Indeed. And she told me something about a prom…”
“A WHAT?” Uruha says shocked.
“A prom…” Ruki repeats surprised.
“Oh god…” Uruha mumbles.
Ruki and Kai laugh. “Why do you hate proms?” Kai asks, while smacking Uruha at his naked shoulder. After that he put on his shirt. And his smiling head comes through the collar.
“Cause it is like an organized pairing ritual… It scares me!” Uruha laughs. “All the spontaneous things are gone! Everyone is acting like a robot with just one goal: end with your date in a dark closet, or a corner of the cycle shed….”
Ruki grins. “I have to say that I don’t mind that goal at all…”
Kai laughs. ‘We know Ruki, we know…”
“But what I wanted to say,” Ruki continues. “Is that this time, it is a bit different…This time the girls ask the boys!” He says, with a tone like: “can you think of anything more retarded?”
“Well…I can’t say I mind…” Kai smiles. “I have no idea which girl I would have asked…So I’ll see…”
“Yeah, same for me…I have no girl I want to ask at the moment…” Uruha smiles.
”Well, at least you two WILL be asked!” Ruki says. “But I have no idea if there is a girl who’d like to go to a prom with me…There’s no one I fancy at the moment…But I have no idea if there is a girl who fancies me!”
Kai looks weird at Ruki, then grins at Uruha.
“Look! He is insecure!” he smiles.
“Aw, poor guy…” Uruha shakes his head, grinning. “But don’t worry Ruki-kun… A stud like you can get every girl he wants!”
“….You really are scaring me…” Ruki says, but he grins.
Kai is laughing. “I’m beginning to understand what Reita said about you!”
“Huh?” Uruha asks. “what did he say?”
“Nothing…” Kai grins, his voice sounds teasing. “Nothing important.”
And then he leaves to the field.
Uruha is staring at him with big, perplexed eyes.
Ruki notices him looking. He smiles. “He’s just kidding!”
“Huh?” Uruha says. “Oh yes, course. I know.” He smiles. “oh and Ruki, I’m sure you’ll find a girl…There are probably many girls who dream of dating you!” He grins, and smacks Ruki on his shoulder.
What have guys with smacking each other on the shoulders? Ruki wonders, he also does it often…Actually it is retarded.
He grins. “Thanks, bet you’ll find a date without any problems.”
”Yeah, with my ass, that’s not supposed to be a problem!” Uruha grins, and he blink-eyes. He puts on his shirt as well, and then waits till Ruki is finished.
Ruki is glad he accepted Uruha as his friend. He really is nice. He’s a cool guy. Kai has a good taste when it comes to friends.

“Okay! Ready? We’re going to do it different today! Everyone is going to play on a  different position then usual! I mixed up who goes to stand where! Questions?” The coach shouts to the 11 guys, standing in front of him in a line.
“Matsumoto! As always, what this time?”
“What is the purport? What do we learn from that?” Ruki asks.
“You’ll learn to understand you’re team-mates better! It’ll improve your skills in playing as a team! Something I missed from you in our last game Matsumoto! SO DO US A FAVOUR, AND STOP DRINKING! SAME FOR YOU!” He shouts at Daichi.
“Yes sir…” Ruki mumbles. Daichi looks guilty, but doesn’t speak.
“Any other remarks? MATSUMOTO?” The coach asks. Staring at Ruki.
“No sir…” Ruki answers.
“GOOD! Let’s start then! Matsumoto, since you almost cause us a lose by not helping our keeper out…You’ll NOTICE what it is like to be left alone in a goal! SAVE your TEAM, Matsumoto! UNDERSTAND your MISTAKES! And now GO TO THAT GOAL!”
Ruki runs off to the goal, he saw this coming…he already felt guilty about the game…But this is just mean…Like he could help it…He at least tried to…Daichi didn’t do anything…
“Okay! UKE!” the coach shouts.
“yes sir?” Kai asks.
“You are the one playing at the front of the field, now you’re going to play in the back! DAICHI! You’re always the one commenting about our attackers, here’s your chance! Change with Yutaka! Show me what you’ve got!”
“Bu-but…” Daichi stutters, he knows he isn’t good enough to replace Kai.
“NO BUT’S! YOU are even WORSE then Matsumoto! He at least TRIED to in the last game! YOU HARDLY MOVED YOUR TOE! AND NOW! GO TO YOUR POSITION!”
“yes…”
“YES WHO?”
“Yes sir…” Daichi mumbles.
“Good! Now, AKI! You’ll switch with Jiro!...KOUYOU! I already sent Takanori to your place…I hope this’ll improve your teamwork!”
Uruha went after Kai and Ruki.

Reita smiles as he walks up the stairs of the tribune, seeing all eleven guys run around in the field.
He sees Ruki in the goal…Isn’t that Uru’s place? And…Kai is an attacker, what is he doing in front of the goal…
“HEY! YOU!” A voice shouts.
Reita looks down, he sees that the voice was from a guy at the bench. He is waiting till his turn comes up.
Reita doesn’t know him.
“Visitors are not allowed at practice!” The guy shouts.
“Oh…Well I’m no visitor! So then we’re cool right?” Reita grins.
“No! We’re not! What are you doing here? Want to join the team?” The guy asks.
“No not really…” Reita mumbles.
“Well? What are you doing here? And what whit’s that thing in front of your nose? Want to rub the place?”
“Nah, there is nothing to get here…” Reita grins, pulling at his napkin. He put that one on this morning, and he liked the result. There always has been something in his face he disgusted, now he knows what it is. His nose.
“But answer my question! What are you doing here? Answer or move it!”
Reita ignores him and tries to walk amongst the sideline, so he could get to the backside of the field.
”OI! WHAT O YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?” The guy shouts. And he runs to catch Reita in, stands in front of him and blocks him the way.
Reita sighs annoyed. “I came to see him!” He says then and points at Uruha.
“Who?” The guy asks, while reaching his neck to see at who Reita is pointing. By doing that, he turns half around and Reita passes him.
”LOSER!” Reita shouts at him while he runs to the back of the field.
“HEY!” The guy shouts, and tries to come after him. But of course the players in the field noticed them.
Aki who has the ball, runs next to Reita with it and grins.
“Hey, Reita-chan! What’re you doing here?”
Reita grins, he runs in the same tempo as Aki does. “Just came to say hi.”
“Ah I see…Well hi! But you must not tease our poor  Arata!” Aki grins.
“Hey, he wants to know what I’m doing here? Now he can see!”
They reached the other side of the field, and Uruha and Kai storm to Aki to stop him.
“Hey Reita…” Ruki says relaxed, while standing in the goal, watching the others fight for the ball.
“Huh Reita?” Kai says surprised, and he turns around. “What are YOU doing here?” he smiles.
“HA!” Aki shouts, cause Kai lost his attention and he now passes him. “
“ SUNSHINE!” Uruha shouts cheerful, while taking the ball from Aki and kicking it back to the other side of the field. “You came to pay us a visit! And that while you HATE soccer! It has to be special…”
“It is Uru!” Reita grins.
“Good!” Kai smiles. “What is it?”
“I GOT IT! I OWN IT! IT’S MINE!” Reita shouts.
“Huh?” Ruki says. “And now again, WITH explanation…”
But Uruha seems just as excited as Reita is. “YOU GOT IT? WHEN?”
“AN HOUR AGO! I BROUGHT IT WITH ME!” Reita shouts back.
“MAN!” Uruha cheers. “ SHOW ME! SHOW ME!”
Reita laughs, he really laughs. Happy.
He almost is shining. Then he runs back to the tribune, puts his middle-finger in the air to Arata, and then runs back with a black guitar-case.
He opens it at the side of the field.
The bass…The bass he wanted for such a long time. It is his!
Uruha cheers and puts his thumbs in the air.
“How cool…” Kai mumbles.
